Draw your Vythrosan holding or observing an item of importance. This can be anything from a photograph, weapon, plushie, or even something like a scar or tattoo. Whatever it is, it must have a significant meaning to your character. You can depict them at any point during this memory—when they received the item, when something reminded them of it, when they needed it the most, or when it saved their life—it is up to you!

Perhaps your character is an old fishersusi who just wants to spend their remaining years sailing the sea for one last epic catch, and their most important item is the first fishing pole they ever got. Or your Vythrosan is a Faelthro from the Vumol clan, which famously assigns status to fancy tassels; their item could be an outrageously expensive shawl adorned with jewels and hundreds of silken tassels. If your character is a Hyro, their item could be a small vial of dead nanocules that they lost during an Archangel attack they miraculously survived, giving them a new outlook on life. Vythrosans come from all walks of life and can have any history, so what item you draw them beholding is entirely up for interpretation!

Draw your Vythrosan during a moment in life that changed their trajectory forever—whether good or bad. It could be something that invokes pride, such as receiving the accolades they needed to get to where they wanted in life; it could also be something of guilt, like a time they were faced with a tough decision that resulted in a loss of life, leading into a hole of shame and regret. Maybe it’s something simple, such as the realization they don’t need to live for anyone but themself, or it could be something huge and impossible to forget.

Is your character a Faelthro or Kaarmesusi? If so, their life changing event may be related to their home world succumbing to the Otherside’s expansion. Did they lose a loved one to an uknown entity, witnessing this loss in realtime? Perhaps they were on the corner of the globe that fell last to the Anomaly, leaving them no choice but to cross into the dimension—maybe completely alone. What if your character is a Hyro? Maybe they were one of the first to report sightings of these portals with aliens coming out of them. Did that lead them down a path of rescue efforts, jumping feet first into the Otherside to find lost people and bring them to Vythrosa? Alternatively, their life altering event could be completely unrelated; it’s up to you to decide!
